Join us for a memorable journey through the First Division Museum’s new outdoor exhibit commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day. This immersive experience takes visitors on a historical and artistic exploration of one of the most significant events of World War II. Led by knowledgeable guides, the tour begins with an introduction to the exhibit’s layout and key features and will allow guests the opportunity to look at the events of June 6, 1944, through a unique perspective.
Tour highlights will include the historical context of D-Day, personal stories from those who fought on Omaha Beach with the 1st Infantry Division, and the lasting impact of the largest amphibious invasion in history. This is a walking tour that requires visitors to walk on grass and up a hill.
