Hospital Bedding Case

The painted lettering on the front of this bedding case indicates it was used at the corps level and held dozens of white and maroon medical blankets for use in hospitals installed near the rear, away from combat. The case was used during Operation Torch (invasion of North Africa) or Operation Husky (invasion of Sicily).
