Blanket

This blue blanket was given to participants in the Persian Gulf War Victory parade held in Washington D.C. on June 8, 1991. This parade was the largest of its kind since the end of World War II. Military leaders and soldiers from each of the fighting units, 8000 in total, marched in this parade.

This is part of a collection that belonged to Specialist 4 James Colbert. He was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, 4th Battalion, 5th Field Artillery, detached to Company C, 3rd Battalion, 37th Armor Regiment (Fire Support Team), 1st Infantry Division. January 1990 to July 1991.
