Join us for a special evening commemorating the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day with a four-course victory feast inside the historic McCormick House. As you dine, staff from the First Division Museum will guide you through the powerful story of the 1st Infantry Division — from their first battles in North Africa in 1942 to their final campaign in Germany in 1945. The evening will place a special emphasis on the final months of the war, culminating in VE Day.
Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy an up-close look at rarely seen artifacts from the museum’s vault. These pieces offer a personal glimpse into the lives and service of the soldiers who fought with the 1st Division, enriching the narrative of their journey through World War II.
We’ll close the night with a celebratory champagne toast—honoring the courage, sacrifice, and enduring legacy of the Greatest Generation.
